construct and apply functions to problems<\/li>\n<li>Graph of y=k<sup>x<\/sup> for positive integer k<\/li>\n<li>Identify and interpret gradients, roots, intercepts, turning points of quadratic functions graphically; deduce roots algebraically and <b>turning points by completing the square <\/b><\/li>\n<li>Quadratic inequalities, including solution sets in set notation<\/li>\n<li>Nth term of a quadratic sequence<\/li>\n<li>More graphs including exponential, piece-wise; problem solving e.g. kinematic problems, financial graphs; calculating area under graphs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Ratio, proportion and rates of change\n<ul>\n<li>Rates of change, represented graphically and algebraically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Geometry\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, describe and construct shapes transformed by stretch parallel to an axis;
