You are invited to visit King Solomon Academy on Friday 13th December. The agenda is as follows:<\/p>\n

7.45am<\/strong> – Arrive
\n8am<\/strong> – Auction
\n8.40am<\/strong> – Briefing from Bruno
\n8.50am<\/strong> – Lesson observations – A mix of year 10 and 11 classes
\n10.15am<\/strong> – Training session from Kris Boulton<\/a>*
\n11am<\/strong> – Lesson observations – A mix of year 7 and 8 classes
\n12.15pm<\/strong> – Meet with groups of pupils
\n12.45pm<\/strong> – Lunch will be provided
\n1.15pm<\/strong> – Q&A with Bruno
\n2pm<\/strong> – Closed-door, round table discussion about changes to GCSE, mastery curriculum, marking in maths, head of department surgery**
\n3pm<\/strong> – Visit ends<\/p>\n

* Kris will be talking about how we use the science behind cognitive load and memory to develop our mastery curriculum and classroom practice.
\n** Whatever we talk about in that room stays in that room. Nothing gets blogged or tweeted.<\/p>\n

At present, the following schools are attending: Reach Academy (@Whitters_90<\/a>), St Cecilia’s Wandsworth (@mathsAlex<\/a>), Wyvern College (@Maths_Master<\/a>), St Leonards Academy and Stratford Upon Avon School (@ListerKev<\/a>).<\/p>\n
